Eligibility
- Citizen of an eligible country, and resident there at the time of application — you apply through the US embassy in your own country
- Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record
- Demonstrated leadership potential and community involvement
- Fluent English, or a willingness to complete a pre-academic language programme
- Applicants already studying in the United States are not eligible
